Here's Braedon and Gregory with their scuba gear ready to get in the water at Castaway Cay...our last stop before heading back to Orlando.

Here's our group disembarking onto Castaway Cay, Disney's private island...it was awesome...there's beaches for adults, families, and teens. They also have Scuttles Cove, where you can drop the kiddos should you need adult time to relax...the food was scrumptious....can't say enough about the service and the food...top of the line!

When you get off at Castaway Cay, they have the 'Flying Dutchman' from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie....the boys were awed!

Our family on the ship on formal night....we enjoy dressing up every now and then!

Our first stop was in Nassau, Bahamas....the water was gorgeous and the kiddos had a blast playing in it. Braedon opted to stay on the ship and go to the kids club....maybe he'll be sorry one day..but he had a good day as well!

This is the welcome aboard deck party...Michael was jammin' out....all the characters came out to sing and dance....the kids were completely impressed that Mickey, Minnie, Goofey, Pluto and Captain Hook got to cruise with us!

This is our family photo op at Hollywood Studios......we spent half day there and the other half at Wild Kingdom....which we have agreed to go back and spend a full day there.....the kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and watching the shows.

Laurie and I got to kiss Mickey....don't be jealous!!

DisneyWorld/Cruise Feb. 2009

We finally took the plunge and did the Disney Land/Sea package after Jason returned from his second Christmas away from us! We went with our neighbors, who have a son a year older than Libby...the kids all get along wonderfully, Greg likes to play board games which is right up Braedon's alley! We had a marvelous time and the kids really enjoyed the cruise....I had doubts that Braedon would enjoy it as I remember being 13, however, he had the best time of all I think! Of course, it helps that his parents are awesome and cool as all get out! Here are some pics, we took a ton, but i'll only post the really important ones! :)

This is Harrison...he and Jenna joined us this weekend in Fargo to watch Braedon's soccer tournament...isn't he sweet!

Quick Photo op on the beach....South Padre Island on the Gulf of Mexico!

Braedon just being awesome!

On our way home (from TX), we spent a couple of days in Aberdeen, SD (my hometown) to spend time with my mom, sisters and nephews. Here is Christopher and Braedon seeing their face-painting in the park.

Summer Happenings

Hello all...I thought I'd take this time to let you know what we've been up to this summer. It's been a busy one due to me working a-LOT and Braedon doing the traveling soccer team-The Minot Lightening and our summer vacation to round it out! I picked up the Bismarck region at The Village due to the gal there having to take some time away to finish her degree. My area covers Minot, South to Bismarck and the rest of the western half of the state of ND. Simply put, alot of traveling!

Braedon decided he wanted to try the traveling soccer team this year, so we signed him up and they decided to attend 4 tournaments this summer.

The last two weeks of June took us to Grand Forks and Fargo. The last two weeks of July took us to Blaine, MN and Fargo, for the championships. Blaine was an awesome experience, we took in a Minnesota Thunder soccer match against Austin, TX. Braedon did some pin trading and got several cool ones...this is a huge, international tournament and was a great experience for all of us.
Instead of staying in a hotel, we stayed at Ham Lake which was about 5 miles from the fields. We rented a cute cabin and enjoyed ourselves and the weekend.

Fargo Championship tourney...final stats: Too Many losses - 1 WIN!

During the 2 week break in July, we headed south to Texas for some much needed R & R. We stayed in McAllen and had a great time! All of Jason's siblings were there, which made his mother very happy to have all her "kids" back home! We took a family picture to mark the occasion. I got some much needed "sun" time and the kids had alot of pool/Gulf time too! It was one of the best family vacations thus far! All in all, we've had a fun filled summer and it's not even over yet.
